Our mission

For the family behind The Joint Venture, cannabis is about community, passion and understanding. Our goal at The Joint Venture is to transform the way in which our customers purchase their cannabis. Our stores are intended to be a place that our customers can come to learn about cannabis, join us for a cup of coffee, or purchase that hard-to-get connoisseur strain.

How you’ve experienced cannabis

For people new to cannabis, or those new to purchasing it in a formal environment, the range of products, names and formats can be intimidating and confusing. For aficionados, the big-brand products are often monotonous and unexciting.

How you should experience it

We are passionate about sharing our knowledge and experience of cannabis with our customers in an informal and informed way. Whether you need something to get the creativity going, help you sleep or to deal with your bad back or take to a dinner party, we want you to make the right choice. We also know the importance that supporting smaller growers and the pioneers brings to the diversity and innovation of cannabis products.

Our story

The Joint Venture Shoppe is a joint venture between two brothers, experienced entrepreneurs and passionate cannabis enthusiasts. We have seen how cannabis can help- whether in making a gathering more sociable, a moment more memorable or pain more bearable-and have surrounded ourselves with a team that cares as much about the product as we do.
